SEAMAID is today one of the most reputable companies and one of the leading importers/distributors of frozen Asian food items for the Northern European market.

In 1986 Bjarne Agergaard (the founder of SEAMAID) began to import frozen food in a new frozen department at BK-FOOD A/S.

The first product was frozen salmon from North America and cold water shrimps from Iceland and Faroe Islands. Later on followed products in a large scale from South America and South-East Asia.

In 2002 the frozen department was transformed into an independent Company named SEAMAID A/S as you know today.
